In the Districts, there are 9 (nine) DICs, one in each of the 9 Districts, along with 2 (two) DIC Sub-Centres, one at Jiribam in Imphal East district and the other at Kangpokpi in Senapati district.
The most important activities of the Department are in the V&SE (Village & Small Enterprise) Sector.
The State Govt. pays due importance on the development of industry, minerals, & commerce (export-import) with the main objectives for generation of employment and bringing about economic development. |
